1. Evergreen Fresh broccoli sprouts — Salmonella

Direct answer: Yes — recalled. Evergreen Fresh Sprouts, LLC (Moyie Springs, ID) recalled broccoli sprouts with Use By dates 9/07, 9/09, 9/11, 9/14, and 9/16 of 2026 and UPC 8 38796 00105 1. FDA/CDC linked the product to a multistate Salmonella Bovismorbificans outbreak (22 cases, 2 hospitalizations as of the September 2026 investigation update). Confirmed distribution: ID, MT, WA (may have spread further).

2. Everything Sprouts / Calco alfalfa sprouts — STEC and Salmonella

Direct answer: Yes — recalled (separate outbreak). Everything Sprouts, LLC (Minneapolis, MN) recalled alfalfa sprouts sold under the Everything Sprouts and Calco brands, plus mixes that used those sprouts, after a multistate outbreak of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli and Salmonella(55 illnesses, 4 hospitalizations, 0 deaths across 15 states as of FDA's August 2026 case counts). Recalled product distribution was confirmed in MN and WI; illnesses were reported more widely. FDA has also noted at least one additional sprout grower that used the same implicated seed lot.
