Health & scope note

Listeria symptoms (fever, headache, body aches) can appear up to eight weeks after eating a contaminated product. If you ate an affected product and develop those symptoms, contact a doctor and mention the product. Pregnant women, older adults and people with weakened immune systems should be particularly alert. Salmonella illness often brings sudden gastrointestinal symptoms, sometimes with fever and headache, usually within 6–72 hours — seek care if symptoms appear after a matching product. Ochratoxin A is listed on the Bialetti fiche as a chemical contaminant above regulatory limits; follow the official notice, not secondary news framing. Match the market, exact product, lot/VIN/model and date. Dates are in 2026 unless stated otherwise. This is a scoped briefing of 8 selected records (5 U.S. + 3 French), not a complete recall register. Four U.S. CPSC notices were first posted October 15 and are curated here because they were not in the October 15 daily. Official notices govern identifiers, sale areas and remedies. No illness counts beyond those stated on the cited notices. Genesis: park-outside advisory only — do not treat this as a “do not drive” campaign.
