Is Whole Foods guacamole and salsa recalled for Salmonella?
Yes. Whole Foods Market recalled 10 store-made products — seven guacamole dips, a Dip Trio and two salsas — that contain jalapeños from Coast Citrus Distributors, because of possible Salmonella. FDA published the announcement on August 12, 2026. They were sold online and in stores in TX, OK, LA, AR, WI, MI, IL, IN, IA, MO, KY and OH with Best Before/By dates between 8/7 and 8/16/2026. Check the PLU code on the store label against the table below. Taylor Fresh Foods separately recalled five salsas and pico de gallo sold at Whole Foods in Illinois and Texas.
