Health & scope note
Listeria symptoms (fever, headache, body aches) can appear up to eight weeks after eating a contaminated product. If you ate an affected product and develop fever, headache or body aches, contact a doctor and mention the product. Pregnant women, older adults and people with weakened immune systems should be particularly alert to these symptoms. STEC illness can cause bloody diarrhea and, in a minority of cases, severe kidney complications — especially in children; seek care promptly if symptoms appear after eating a matching product. Match the market, exact product, lot/VIN/model and date. Dates are in 2026 unless stated otherwise. This is a scoped briefing of 8 selected records (6 U.S./Canada consumer-vehicle + 2 French dairy), not a complete recall register. Several U.S. CPSC notices were first posted earlier in October and are curated here because they were not in prior daily briefings. Official notices govern identifiers, sale areas and remedies. No illness counts beyond those stated on the cited notices; Toyota’s Land Cruiser releases do not list incident counts.
