October 14 Recall & Safety Briefing — 10 selected notices

2026-10-13 13:00 to 2026-10-14 13:00 (UTC; end excluded)

Canada · European Union · United Kingdom · United States

Ten newly tracked or updated records: four U.S. vehicle recalls (Honda/Acura rear subframe count revised to 965,561; Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid loss of drive power; Tiffin Allegro Bus / Phaeton fuel hose; Honda tire-repair kit second remedy) and six French food notices published October 14 (Krill Essentiel frozen spinach; chicken Milanese at E.Leclerc Royan; two SECRETS DU VAL D’ARGENT sausage date errors; BIO VILLAGE BEBE and AUCHAN BABY BIO growing-up milk). “Newly tracked” does not mean first announced today. This is a curated briefing, not a complete recall list. Always match the exact product, lot/VIN and date against the official notice.

Period: notices published or first collected 2026-10-13 13:00 → 2026-10-14 13:00 UTC · Markets: United States · France

United States

1. Honda / Acura rear subframe: revised vehicle count

  • Campaign 26V365000 · Honda AOU / AOT
  • NHTSA now lists 965,561 potentially affected vehicles, up 85,047 from 880,514 in its June 9 acknowledgment letter. The date and reason for that revision, and any additional VINs, are not specified.
  • Certain 2016–2022 Pilot, 2017–2023 Ridgeline, 2019–2023 Passport and 2014–2020 Acura MDX vehicles sold in CT, DE, DC, IL, IN, IA, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, VA, WV or WI.
  • Corrosion at rear-suspension mounting points can cause component failure and loss of control.
  • What to do: dealers will inspect, install reinforcement and repair or replace components as needed, free. Interim letters went out July 27; the current record still says the final remedy is anticipated in fall 2026. Contact Honda at 1-888-234-2138.
  • Official: NHTSA campaign 26V365000 · Earlier count letter: RCAK-26V365-6495.pdf

2. Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid: loss of drive power

  • Campaign 26V659000 · Toyota 26TA22
  • Certain 2026 RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid vehicles, 30,978 in total.
  • A motor-generator ECU error can reduce power or shut down the plug-in-hybrid system at higher speeds, increasing crash risk.
  • What to do: dealers will update the ECU software free of charge. Letters are expected to begin November 22. Contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331. This concerns the specified plug-in-hybrid vehicles, not every RAV4.
  • Official: NHTSA campaign 26V659000

3. Tiffin Allegro Bus / Phaeton: fuel hose separation

  • Campaign 26V662000 · Tiffin TIF-150
  • Certain 2022–2025 Allegro Bus and Phaeton motorhomes equipped with specified L9 diesel engines, part D563027BX03; 177 vehicles in total.
  • Remote fuel-filter hoses can separate, causing a fuel leak and engine stall (fire risk near an ignition source; crash risk from stall).
  • What to do: Cummins dealers will replace the hoses free. Letters are expected November 20. Contact Tiffin at 1-256-356-8661. The 177 total covers the campaign, not each model or model year.
  • Official: NHTSA campaign 26V662000

4. Honda tire repair kits: previous repair does not finish the job

  • Campaign 26V663000 · Honda PPW · Related campaign 26V366
  • Certain 2023–2026 CR-V Hybrid and Accord Hybrid vehicles, plus 2025 CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles previously repaired under 26V366; 4,804 vehicles in total.
  • Tire-kit part cited in the published briefing: 42771-3D4-A01 (not shown in the NHTSA API summary text; confirm on the dealer/VIN record).
  • Pressure in the sealant bottle can eject its cap and injure someone nearby.
  • What to do: dealers will inspect and replace the nozzle as needed, free. Affected vehicles repaired under the earlier campaign still need this new remedy. VIN lookup is expected October 17; letters are expected November 16. Contact Honda at 1-866-784-1870. A VIN not appearing before the lookup opens is not proof that the vehicle is unaffected.
  • Official: NHTSA campaign 26V663000

Vehicle-date note: NHTSA received the reports on June 4 (26V365), October 7 (26V659) and October 8 (26V662 / 26V663). These are report-received dates, not verified first-publication dates. Records were confirmed for this briefing on October 14; the Honda count revision is not dated to today.

Health & scope note

Match the market, exact product, lot/VIN and date. Dates are in 2026 unless stated otherwise. This is a scoped briefing of 10 selected records (4 U.S. vehicle + 6 French food), not a complete U.S./European recall register. Official notices govern identifiers, sale areas and remedies. No illness counts or absence-of-illness claims.
