Certain 2022–2026 Toyota Sienna Hybrid 7-passenger vehicles (production Sep 16, 2021 – Jul 20, 2026). parkIt / parkOutSide / overTheAirUpdate: false / false / false — do not label as Do Not Drive.
  • Hazard: each second-row seat has an integrated seat-belt pretensioner; under certain frontal-crash combinations the outboard recliner can disengage from a locked position → unsecured seat back may fail to properly protect an occupant → increased injury risk.
  • Remedy: dealers update SRS ECU software free of charge for most vehicles. For about 200 2022–2025 Sienna Hybrid vehicles with the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) package, dealers replace the two second-row seat backs. Owner notification letters expected December 7–21, 2026.
