The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to stop using Chalsea four-drawer dressers immediately because they violate the mandatory standard as required by the STURDY Act , posing a deadly risk of entrapment and tip- over. If they are not anchored to the wall, the unstable dressers pose tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in serious injuries or death to children. CPSC urges consumers to stop using the Henan Senka Chalsea Dresser immediately and dispose of it in accordance with local disposal requirements or anchor it securely to the wall. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products. Henan Senka Trading Co. Ltd., of China, has not agreed to an acceptable recall of these dressers. This safety warning involves the Chalsea-branded dressers, models WF-CT03WH01 and WF-CT03BG01. The white or blue dressers are made of metal and have four drawers with gold handles. The dressers measure about 31.5 inches wide, 39.25 inches high and 15.75 inches long. Report any incidents involving injury or product defect to CPSC at www.SaferProducts.gov .
