CPSC recall 27-066 · Announced November 5, 2026 · Arlopu · Last updated
Is my Arlopu slide playset recalled?
Yes — if it is an Arlopu Slide Playset model KT-CS17 or LY-31. On November 5, 2026, CPSC announced Arlopu’s recall of about 10,318 slide playsets (recall 27-066). The playsets have openings where a child’s torso can fit but the head cannot, posing a head and neck entrapment hazard with risk of serious injury and death. On model KT-CS17, basketball nets can also come unhooked and form a loop large enough for a child’s head (entanglement and strangulation). Arlopu has received one entrapment report resulting in abrasions on a child’s neck. Stop using the playset immediately and store it away from children; contact Arlopu for a free repair kit.
