Why was American Greetings Corp. Confetti Bursts recalled?
The surface paint on the individual bags of confetti contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
What should I do if I have this product?
Consumers should immediately take the recalled confetti bursts away from children and contact American Greetings for instructions on returning the confetti bursts to American Greetings to receive a coupon redeemable wherever American Greetings' products are sold. Product description
The recalled products contain confetti in plastic bags. When the bags are inflated, consumers squeeze the bag and confetti bursts out. Each package contains six confetti bursts.
