Consumers should stop using their snowmobiles immediately if they have installed red accessory skis and bring the skis or snowmobile to their Polaris dealer for replacement. Contact: If consumers are unsure if their snowmobile is affected or have additional questions, contact Polaris at 1-800-Polaris (1-800-765-2747) between 8 a.m. and 12 midnight ET daily or go to the firm's website at www.polarisindustries.com. Consumers should have available the part number when they call.

Product description
The recalled skis are the red composite (nonmetallic) skis and were sold as an accessory item for use on Polaris snowmobiles. The part number is inscribed on the tail of the snowmobile ski.
