Why was CPSC, Suzuki Motor Corporation Announce Recall of ATVs recalled?
The nut that secures the LT-F400K2 and LT-F400FK2 clutch shoe will come loose during operation. When the nut loosens, the clutch shoe will become loose on the crankshaft. In some cases this will cause severe damage to the clutch wheel and crankshaft or can cause the crankshaft to break. This will interrupt power transfer from the engine to the transmission and the drive wheels and may leave the rider stranded away from his or her base of operation.
What should I do if I have this product?
Consumers should contact their local Suzuki dealer to schedule an appointment for their ATV to be inspected and repaired. The inspection and repair will be performed at no cost. Contact: For more information, contact Suzuki, at (714) 572-1490 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. PT Monday through Friday. Suzuki Motor Corporation will notify consumers directly about this recall.

Product description
The Suzuki "Eiger" LT-F400K2 and LT-F400FK2 (two and four-wheel drive) ATVs have manual transmissions. These models carry the identifications "Suzuki" and "Eiger" on both sides of the bodywork, inboard of the operator's knee location. The ATVs are available in both red and green.
