Why was CPSC, Kole Imports Announce Recall of Contact Adhesive recalled?
The adhesive contains toluene, which can present a fire and poisoning hazard to consumers. The packaging of this product does not have the required cautionary labeling, as required under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act.

Consumers should stop using the adhesive immediately and call Kole Imports to receive a full refund. Consumers also can write to Kole Imports at 24600 S. Main Street, Carson, CA 90745 for the refund. Product description
The recalled adhesive comes in a soft metal squeeze tube about 1" x 5" with a screw top. The tube is marked, "Super Contact Adhesive," and comes in yellow, orange, blue, and white. The UPC code is 7-31015-04471- 9.
